*Union Minister Appreciates the Efforts of Vice-Chancellor Professor Chakrawal*
Bilaspur. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (Central University) Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal paid a courtesy visit to Honorable Shri Kaushal Kishore, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India in New Delhi on May 23, 2023.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alok Kumar Chakrawal honored Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Honorable Mr. Kaushal Kishore by presenting him with a bouquet and shawl. Professor Chakrawal gave detailed information to Honorable Minister Mr. Kaushal Kishore about various positive efforts being made which are related to the academic activities, research and innovation, infrastructure development and social concerns of the university.
The Vice-Chancellor Professor Chakrawal said that keeping in view the complete implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, a three-day workshop was recently organized on the subject of character building and overall development of personality. He said that the primary objective of the National Education Policy 2020 is to provide value based education to the youth for character building and overall development of personality.
Appraising the Hon’ble Minister about the “Nasha Mukt Samaj Andolan Abhiyan Kaushal Ka”, Vice-Chancellor Professor Chakrawal said that such programs should be organized in all higher education institutions of the country with the aim of spreading awareness among the youth. He said that we have to motivate the youth to cooperate in works related to nation building and social concerns. Hon’ble Minister assured of his support for such worthy enterprises.
