Raigarh’s Vidhi Bhonsle in 12th, Jashpur’s Rahul Yadav in 10th emerge as toppers in CGBSE exams 2023

Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on Wednesday released the results of Class 10 and Class 12. Raigarh’s Vidhi Bhonsle in 12th and Jashpur’s Rahul Yadav in 10th emerged as the toppers in the CGBSE examinations 2023 which was conducted in March. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated the students cleared the examinations and said that helicopter is ready for the meritorious students.
School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam released the result in the CGBSE office. Vivek Agrawal of Janjgir stood second in the 12th examination.
The 10th examination result in the state remained 75.05 percent while the 12th examination result remained 79.96 percent. Results can be seen on the CGBSE websites http://cgbse.nic.in and http://results.cg.nic.in. Out of 10 toppers, 3 students are from Swami Atmanand School. In the 12th, 6 girls have scored in the top 10. 5 girls have made it to in the top-10 in 10th.
Chief minister Baghel said, helicopter ride will be offered to the students who have secured a place in the top ten in the 10th and 12th examinations. Children who have not got the expected results need not to worry and they should work harder, he said.
In the high school examination conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, 3 lakh 30 thousand 681 candidates appeared in the examination, in which 1 lakh 52 thousand 891 boys and 1 lakh 77 thousand 790 girls appeared. The results of 3 lakh 30 thousand 055 candidates were declared. The number of candidates who passed in the first division is 1,09,903 (33.30 per cent). The number of candidates passed in the second division is 1,19,901 (36.32 per cent) and the number of candidates passed in the third division is 17,914 (5.43 percent).
In the 12th, 3,23,625, including 1,43,919 boys and 1,79,706 girls, appeared for the examination. However, the results of 3,23,266 candidates could be released. The number of passed candidates is 2,58,500 (83.64 per cent girls and 75.36 per cent boys). The number of candidates passed in the first division is 87,140 (26.96 percent), 1,45,965 (45.15 percent) passed with second division and 25,377 (7.85 percent) passed with third division. 22,751 candidates will have to take the supplementary exam.
The CGBSE has released helpline number 18002334363 for the students who will be guided by the experts. Psychiatrist, psychologist, career counselor and assistant professor will give guidance in this helpline. This helpline number will be operational from May 10 to May 18. The experts will render their services in two shifts – 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm.
