Chief Minister encourages youths as he releases amount of unemployment allowance to eligible youths’ bank accounts

Apparently an eye on the assembly elections, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made a major announcement for youths saying there will be only recruitment advertisements in the newspapers once the hurdles of reservations bills, which are pending for the Raj Bhawan’s assent, are cleared. “I will be the happiest person to see all the youths of Chhattisgarh have appointment letters in their hands,” said that chief minister while launching the unemployment allowance scheme on Sunday.
The Chief Minister transferred unemployment allowance amount to the bank accounts of 66,265 eligible beneficiaries under the scheme. The unemployed youths of the state will get an unemployment allowance of Rs 17.50 crore in all. An amount of Rs 2500 will be given every month to the eligible youths.
So far, more than 1.27 lakh applications have been received on the Berojgari Bhatta portal. During a programme on Sunday, the chief minister said that he will be completely happy when the youths will have employment. “I assure you that the day the reservation bill is passed, there will be only recruitment advertisements in the newspapers,” said the chief minister.
During this, the Chief Minister said that today is a big day for all in the state. About 70000 youths have been found eligible under the scheme. The number may increase.
During the programme, the chief minister also discussed with the youths on various issues. Hitesh, a beneficiary from Surguja who joined virtually, said that this amount will help in further studies. Megha Khandekar said that her mother is a housewife and single. This money will help her to fulfill her dreams.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is working towards providing employment to all. Ishwari Sahu from Raigarh said that she is studying PGDCA and her family income is meager. This amount will help in her studies. Komal from Koriya district said she is doing MSC. She wants to become a teacher in future.
Aishwarya Sahu from Durg said that she has done BEd. Now she will study further. Priyanka Paikra from Sarguja said she will prepare for competitive exams with this money and she dreams to be a Deputy Collector of Collector. Vaibhav, who came from Bilaspur, said that he fills forms for competitive examinations and this money will certainly help him.
Rishabh Chandrakar from Mahasamund said that if he will pay his coaching fees.
Sanjana Tiwari of Raipur said that students depend on home to prepare for their competitive exams. Now with this allowance, they are not dependent on the family members. Gajanand said that his parents are laborers. “I want to prepare for the competitive exams.” A young man from Khairagarh told that he is the only BEd candidate in his village. Now if he gets allowance then he will prepare for teacher recruitment.
