Chhattisgarh’s ‘Sian Jatan Clinic’ gets recognition at national level

Chhattisgarh government’s achievement under ‘Sian Jatan Clinic’, aimed healthcare of elderly people, has been appreciated in the national level Ayush Mission Conclave organised by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on May 18 and 19.
Presentations of various topics and excellent activities were also organized under the Mission.
In the Conclave, a presentation was made by P Dayanand, Secretary Medical Education Department, containing information about the purpose, methodology and beneficiaries of this initiative. Under Sian Jatan, special OPD services and Panchakarma services are provided for the elderly on every Thursday in all the 1174 government AYUSH institutions of the state. Started in May 2022 last year, under this initiative, more than 4 lakh elderly people have been benefited so far.
Describing this as a follow-up initiative by the senior officials of the Government of India and the officials present from other states, necessary technical cooperation has also been requested to start this type of initiative in their states.
