RAIPUR
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Combined Defence Services (CDS) and National Defence Academy (NDA) examinations for 2026 on 12 April across various centres in the district. The local administration has completed all arrangements and assigned duties to officials for the smooth conduct of the exams.
CDS exam schedule
The CDS examination will be held in three shifts:
- First shift: 9 am to 11 am
- Second shift: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
- Third shift: 4 pm to 6 pm
The designated venues for the CDS exam include:
- Rashtriya Uchchatar Madhyamik Vidyalaya (Bal Ashram premises, Kutchery Chowk)
- PG Umathe Government Girls Higher Secondary School (Shanti Nagar)
- PG Daga Girls College (Bal Ashram premises, Kutchery Chowk)
NDA exam centres
The NDA examination will be conducted in two shifts:
- First shift: 10 am to 12:30 pm
- Second shift: 2 pm to 4:30 pm
Five centres have been set up in the district:
- Lakshminarayan Girls Higher Secondary School (Gurukul premises)
- Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School (Lalpur)
- Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Girls Higher Secondary School
- Raipur Convent Higher Secondary School (Gudhiyari)
- Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology
Administration issues guidelines
To supervise the proceedings, Deputy Collector Upendra Kindo has been appointed as the Assistant Co-ordinating Supervisor. Kedarnath Patel, Employment Officer at the Special Employment Office, Raipur, will serve as the control room in-charge.
The administration has advised candidates to reach their respective exam centres well in advance and strictly follow all prescribed guidelines.
