MLAs’ committee inspects New Parliament Building in Delhi for Chhattisgarh assembly beautification project

Raipur, 8 Octoberą„¤ A committee of MLAs, constituted by Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh for the beautification of the state’s new assembly building, visited and inspected the New Parliament Building at Central Vista in New Delhi today.
Led by committee chairman Dharam Lal Kaushik, the panel examined the modern technology, Indian architecture and cultural motifs integrated into the design of the New Parliament. The complex features art forms, sculptures, handicrafts and traditional artwork representing various states across the country.

The visiting delegation included MLAs Ajay Chandrakar, Dharamjit Singh, Raghavendra Singh and Bhavna Bohra, alongside Chhattisgarh Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma, CPWD engineer Ashwani Mittal, and senior officials from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats.
During their Delhi visit, the panel also met Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), to discuss design and beautification concepts for the new Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly building.
