Security Forces Demolish 4 Illegal Maoist Memorials in Separate Bijapur Operations

Raipur

Security forces destroyed a total of four illegal Maoist memorials in separate operations under the Farsegadh and Tarrem police station limits in Bijapur district, as part of ongoing anti-Naxal efforts.

In one operation, personnel from the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Pilluru of the 214th Battalion demolished a 15-foot-high illegal Maoist memorial constructed in the Nilmadgu forest.

Meanwhile, troops from the 153rd Battalion under Tarrem police station jurisdiction razed three such memorials during an operation in the forests of Peddagelur and Kottaguda.

These actions aim to eradicate Maoism completely and establish lasting peace, security, and development in the region. Security forces are systematically dismantling all symbolic structures, markers of violence, and remnants created by Maoists to instill fear.

District authorities emphasized that such operations will continue to eliminate Naxal influence and promote normalcy.
