Congress attempting to create chaos through toolkit politics, says BJP president Nitin Nabin

Raipur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin has accused the Congress of attempting to create unrest in the country by mobilising crowds and establishing a parallel system inspired by political developments in other nations.

Commenting on the prevailing political situation, Nabin said attempts to replicate political unrest witnessed in foreign countries would not succeed in India. He questioned whether those running the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation with foreign funding could decide the political direction of the country, asserting that such attempts would not be tolerated.

Referring to a recent statement by a Congress minister, the BJP president said the leader had openly acknowledged that senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi possesses a “remote button” capable of mobilising 40 lakh people to trigger unrest across the country. Nabin said such statements reinforce long-standing allegations about the use of a political toolkit to destabilise the country and create chaos.

Highlighting the BJP’s political background, Nabin said the party had built its identity through sustained struggles, protests on the streets and battles inside Parliament. Contrasting this with Rahul Gandhi’s political record, he accused the Congress leader of prioritising dynastic politics over political struggle and treating Indian democracy like a family-run monarchy.

Nabin further alleged that repeated electoral defeats in several states had prompted the Congress leadership to target constitutional institutions and question their credibility. He expressed confidence that people were closely watching these developments and would not allow any attempt to destabilise the country to succeed.
