Vishnudeo Sai’s Cabinet expansion on Friday; 9 Legislators, including Brijmohan Agrawal and OP Choudhary, to take oath

In Chhattisgarh, the expansion of Vishnudeo Sai’s cabinet is scheduled for Friday. After finalizing names with Delhi’s leadership, proposals have been sent to the Raj Bhawan.
The Chief Minister made this announcement on Thursday. The cabinet’s oath-taking ceremony will occur at the Raj Bhawan on Friday morning at 11:45 AM.


Senior leaders, including Brijmohan Agrawal, representing Raipur South, tribal leader Kedar Kashyap from Bastar, senior tribal leader Ramvichar Netam, Dayaldas Baghel, Tankaram Varma, former IAS officer turned politician O P Choudhary, Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, and Laxmi Rajwade, will take the oath.
It’s worth mentioning that Chief Minister Sai and his two deputies, Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, took the oath on December 13. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, and UP CM Yogi Adityanath were present on the stage along with many chief ministers from various states.

\One ministerial position is still vacant
As per Sai’s announcement, 9 MLAs will take the oath for ministerial positions. This indicates that one ministerial position remains unfilled in Sai’s government. Veteran leaders like Rajesh Munat, Amar Agrawal, Renuka Singh, newcomer Guru Khushwant Sahib who defeated minister Shiv Kumar Dahariya from Arang, and Dharamlal Kaushik may be considered for this position. Discussions among the central leaders of BJP regarding these names are ongoing.
