Police personnel asked to use social media within limits

Chhattisgarh Police has issued guidelines regarding the use of social media for all the policemen of the state.
The Director General of Police (DGP), Ashok Juneja, has issued a 20-point guideline, according to which policemen are allowed to use social media, but in the limit. They cannot violate the rules.

Police officers and employees will not share any such information on social media, which are related to the departmental. In this case they have to take permission from the authority. They will have to take the permission of the officer to share official documents, note sheets and reports on social media.
No comment will be allowed on political parties and politicians. Policemen will not mention their appointment or any of their colleagues on social media. Policemen will not be allowed to make and share any kind of reels, photo shoots and videos in uniform. The information of any crime or investigation will also be issued by competent officers only. No policeman or officer will release it in social media.
