Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel hits back at Union Minister Giriraj Singh’s remark on conversion

Hitting back at Union Minister Giriraj Singh for his remark on conversion in Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday said that the amount of conversion that happened in the 15 years of BJP has never happened before and is not happening now.
The Chief Minister said that the law on religious conversion has been in place since the time of Madhya Pradesh and it has been adopted strictly here.
Swift action is being taken on the complaints of conversion in the state, said the chief minister, adding, some fake complaints have come to the fore. As far as Giriraj Singh is concerned, he must have visited Chhattisgarh only half a time before this. But the number of churches that were built in the 15 years of the BJP’s tenure, were built neither before nor after. The Chief Minister challenged that the BJP should not refute his claim.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh has directly challenged the Congress to talk on the issue of MSP, accepting which the Chief Minister his challenge is accepted. The Union Minister should tell on which platform to come.
The Chief Minister has attended the divisional convention of Congress at Durg today and talked to media.
Referring to Congress state in-charge Kumari Selja’s statement in report card of the ministers, the Chief Minister said a meeting has been held with the ministers, and meetings are underway with the MLAs. Kumari Selja has also had meetings with me many times. She is in-charge, her job is to keep reviewing everyone’s work, if she doesn’t review them then how will she take a decision, that’s why it is necessary to review everyone’s work. ,
On third front issue ahead of assembly election, the Chief Minister said when Ajit Jogi ji was within the Congress, they were out of power, as soon as Jogi was out of the Congress, they came to power.
The Chief Minister said that now that there is an election, then the former Chief Minister is remembering the tribal heroes
“There is a criteria for the winning candidate, those who can win are given tickets, but most of our MLAs who have very good reports,” said the Chief Minister referring to Selja’s performance remark.
To be mentioned, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, who was on Bastar tour, had said that conversion has been given exemption in Bastar. Giriraj Singh said that Congress is trying to destroy Sanatan Dharma in the entire country including Chhattisgarh, but they will not let this happen.
