State Government committed to provide benefit of 32 per cent reservation to tribals: CM Baghel

Raipur: A delegation of Adivasi Samaj met chief minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here late on Monday and discussed the reservation issue in detail.
On this occasion, Baghel assured the MPs, ministers, MLAs, and public representatives of the Adivasi Samaj that the state government is committed to providing the benefit of 32 per cent reservation to the tribals in Chhattisgarh and all necessary steps are being taken in this regard.
“There will be no loss of any kind to the reserved category in the state and ensuring this is among our topmost priorities. Firstly, we will move to the Supreme Court regarding this matter. The state government is working consciously to protect the rights of tribals provided in the Constitution. The government is taking all the necessary steps so the tribal society need not be worried at all”, said Chief Minister.
During the discussion with the tribals, Baghel said that the state government is committed to the welfare and upliftment of the tribals. Our main goal is to integrate the tribal communities into the mainstream of society. All the necessary steps will be taken keeping in view the interest of the tribals.
