Govt transfers nine IFS officers in Chhattisgarh

The Chhattisgarh government transferred nine Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers on Friday.

The Forest and Climate Change Department issued the order signed by Special Secretary JP Pathak. Saurabh Singh Thakur (2017 batch), Deputy Director of Guru Ghasidas Tiger Reserve in Baikunthpur, moves to Ambikapur as Deputy Director of Elephant Reserve, Sarguja. Dinesh Kumar Patel (2018 batch), Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) (Territorial) of Mohla, takes over as Deputy Director of Achanakmar Tiger Reserve in Lormi.

Ganesh UR (2019 batch), Deputy Director of Achanakmar Tiger Reserve in Bilaspur, takes charge as DFO, Research and Extension Division, Bilaspur. He will also hold additional charge as Director, Achanakmar Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve, Bilaspur. Abhinav Kumar (2021 batch), DFO (Territorial) of Mungeli, moves to Mohla in the same capacity.

S Naveen Kumar (2022 batch), Director of Kanger Valley National Park in Jagdalpur, has been posted as DFO (Territorial), West Bhanupratappur. Gautam Padibhar (2023 batch), Sub-Divisional Forest Officer (SDFO) of Gaurella in Marwahi Division, replaces him as Director, Kanger Valley National Park.

Shweta Kamboj (2023 batch), SDFO of Ambikapur Division, goes to Baikunthpur as Deputy Director, Guru Ghasidas Tiger Reserve. Sumedh Sanjay Surwane (2023 batch), SDFO of Sukma Division, becomes Deputy Director, Indravati Tiger Reserve in Bijapur. Tanmay Kaushik (2023 batch), SDFO of Raigarh Division, moves to Mungeli as DFO (Territorial).

Stylo Mandavi (2011 batch), officiating Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) (Wildlife) and Field Director, Indravati Tiger Reserve, Jagdalpur, who holds additional charge as CCF (Territorial), Jagdalpur, will relinquish all duties except CCF (Territorial) upon Uttam Kumar Gupta assuming charge.
