RAIPUR, October 12: Preparations for President Droupadi Murmu’s proposed two-day visit to Chhattisgarh on October 22 and 23 were reviewed at a high-level meeting held at Lok Bhawan in Raipur on Monday.

The meeting was chaired by Governor’s Secretary Dr C.R. Prasanna, where officials discussed the arrangements required at Lok Bhawan during the President’s visit.

Dr Prasanna reviewed key logistics, including seating arrangements, parking facilities, uninterrupted power supply, and internet connectivity within the Lok Bhawan premises. He instructed the concerned officials to ensure medical facilities, security arrangements, and protocol-compliant vehicle deployment well in advance to guarantee the smooth conduct of the President’s visit.

Public Relations Department Director Ashish Kumar Tikriha, Raipur Police Commissioner Sanjeev Shukla, and senior officials from the district administration, police department, Raipur Municipal Corporation, and General Administration Department attended the meeting.
