We will think of banning Bajrang Dal if necessary, said CM Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur, 03may 2023
Congress manifesto in Karnataka promising ban on Bajrang Dal if the party forms the government in the state going to assembly elections on May 10 has echoed in Chhattisgarh with chief minister Bhupesh Baghel saying the Hindu outfit will be banned if necessary. Talking to media on Wednesday, the chief minister said that he would think over banning Bajrang Dal in Chhattisgarh.
Regarding linking Bajrang Dal with Bajrang Bali by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Baghel said that the Karnataka manifesto speaks about Bajrang Dal, not Bajrang Bali.
In the name of Bajrang Bali, hooliganism cannot be allowed in the state, said the chief minister.
Soon after Baghel’s statement, BJP State General Secretary Vijay Sharma said that Congress President in Karnataka Mallikarjun Kharge has proved the anti-Hindu character of Congress in his manifesto to ban Bajrang Dal. The central government has already banned PFI in September 2022. Congress in Karnataka has hatched a conspiracy to defame the Hindu organization by mentioning the name of Bajrang Dal along with PFI in the manifesto just as part of its appeasement policy.
BJP State President Arun Sao has said that Bajrang Dal will always remain there like Bajrang Bali. Such statements have once again exposed the anti-Hindu character of the Congress. They hate Sanatana Dharma and its protectors, said Sao. The threat to fix Bajrang Dal is unfortunate.
