Raipur

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that he was in Chhattisgarh for the preparations of 2024 general elections, but before this there are assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. He appealed the voters to vote for the BJP to form ‘double engine’ government for the development of the state at the double pace. He stated this while addressing a public rally in Korba district of Chhattisgarh on Saturday.

Shah said that it is his good fortune to come to Chhattisgarh, the maternal grandfather of Lord Ram. The people here gave BJP a chance to rule for 15 years and he thanked the people of the state for that. He said that earlier everyone used to call Chhattisgarh as Bimaru state, but BJP has taken it forward from Bimaru to a developed state. Targeting the Congress, Shah said that the Congress tells only lies and has done nothing except doing corruption.

Shah further said that the BJP government had almost ended Naxalism from the state in 15 years. He questioned Congress as what the party has done for the tribals?

Shah said that the country will be made free from Naxalism by 2024 Lok Sabha elections and efforts are being made for this.

The public will give a befitting reply to the work of the Chhattisgarh government in the elections.

If Narendra Modi is to be made the Prime Minister in 2024, then form the BJP government in Chhattisgarh in 2023, Shah appealed the people of Chhattisgarh in the public rally. He appealed people to help Modi to make Chhattisgarh of Atal ji’sdreams.

Central government gave Rs 9,234 crore to Chhattisgarh, I want to ask Bhupesh Baghel where did this money go. He appreciated former chief minister Dr Raman Singh in the rally even though he was not seen on the stage during Shah’s address.

Regarding Shah’s visit, Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandelsaid that the people present in this program have shown that the people are fed up with the Congress government and the results will definitely come out in the coming elections. On the other hand, State President Arun Sao told that the BJP’s lotus will bloom in the elections to be held in 2023. In 2024, 11 Lok Sabha seats will be given to Narendra Modi. BJP had lost on 2 seats in the last general election.

The BJP had lost two Lok Sabha seats in Chhattisgarh in the form of Korba and Bastar in the last general election.
