Raipur: Chhattisgarh reported 26 new cases of Influenza A (H1N1) on Friday, taking the total number of infections to 205 since January 1, 2026, according to the daily surveillance report released by the Directorate of Health Services.
Data from the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) shows that Raipur recorded the highest number of new cases with 12 infections, followed by Bilaspur with 6 and Durg with 4 cases. Balod reported 2 cases, while Janjgir-Champa and Mahasamund recorded 1 case each.
The state currently has 57 active H1N1 cases. Of these, 44 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while 13 patients are under home isolation.
Raipur Most Affected
According to the district-wise cumulative data, Raipur remains the worst-affected district with 89 cases. Bilaspur and Durg have reported 26 cases each.
Other affected districts include Korba with 11 cases, Raigarh with 10, and Dhamtari with 9 cases.
Health authorities are continuing surveillance and monitoring of H1N1 cases across the state, with focus on the treatment and monitoring of active patients.
