Benefits under the program are limited to two girls who were born after April 1, 2014, come from a household that is below the poverty level, and are residents of the state of Chhattisgarh. With the implementation of the program, poor urban families and families living in far tribal communities no longer have to worry about the future of their girls. The District Program Officer, District Women and Child Development Officer, and Child Development Project Officer at the block level can be contacted to take advantage of the program.
