Retired IAS officer Anil Tuteja placed on One-Day Judicial Remand in Liquor Scam Probe

Raipur
Retired IAS officer Anil Tuteja has been placed under one-day judicial remand amidst a probe into a liquor scam in Raipur. The court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class in Raipur issued the order on Sunday, mandating Tuteja’s detention for a day.
Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Tuteja and presented him in court regarding the liquor scam. His son, Yash Tuteja, was also detained but was released on Sunday morning after interrogation.
The father-son duo had visited the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) office on Saturday to provide their statements regarding the excise case.
Following their interrogation at the ACB office, ED officials transferred them to the Sub-Zonal office located at Pachpedi Naka. This action comes after the ED recently filed a fresh Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) in the liquor scam case, naming both Anil Tuteja and Yash Tuteja as suspects.
