IIM Raipur launches new digital health programmes

Raipur: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, through its Centre for Health Innovation, Policy & Digital Health (CHIPDH), has launched three new courses in collaboration with the Academy of Digital Health Sciences.
Registrations are now open for the Chief Digital Health Officer (CDHO) Programme, the Professional Development Programme in Digital Health for Nurses, and the Professional Development Programme in Digital Health for Pharmacists. These courses are designed for healthcare professionals, hospital leaders, nurses, pharmacists, and senior healthcare executives.
Meanwhile, the ongoing Post-Graduate Certificate Programme in Digital Health (PGCPDH-4) and the Executive Leadership Programme for Founders & CEOs of Hospitals (ELPFCEOH-3) are currently in progress, with participants from across India including healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, policy experts, and practitioners.
Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director In-Charge of IIM Raipur, said digital health is becoming a crucial global sector. He added that the institute aims to build an ecosystem combining management excellence, healthcare innovation, and technology-driven leadership.
Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Chairman of the Academy of Digital Health Sciences, stated that global healthcare systems are rapidly shifting toward AI-enabled and technology-driven delivery models, making specialized training essential.
Prof. Jighyasu Gaur, Chairperson of Digital Health Initiatives at IIM Raipur, said the programmes are designed to equip professionals with strategic and managerial skills required for modern healthcare systems.
The CDHO Programme focuses on training senior executives in AI-based healthcare systems, cyber governance, and Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) compliance.
The nursing programme, jointly certified by the Indian Nursing Council, the Academy of Digital Health Sciences, and IIM Raipur, provides Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credits and focuses on technology-enabled patient care.
The pharmacist programme is self-paced and focuses on clinical applications and pharmacy practice skills.
