Controversial Social Media Post Sparks Debate: Chhattisgarh Congress Leader UD Minj Claims Account Was Hacked

Raipur, Chhattisgarh – Chhattisgarh Congress leader and former Kunkuri MLA UD Minj found himself at the center of controversy after a post from his social media account suggested that India’s defeat in a potential war with Pakistan was inevitable.

The post, which sparked an intense online debate, discussed hypothetical scenarios in the event of an India-Pakistan conflict and the possible involvement of China. It also criticized proponents of war, suggesting that those in favor should be enrolled as Agniveers and sent to the borders.

In the wake of the backlash, Minj quickly responded, claiming that his account had been hacked. He issued a statement denying any involvement in the controversial post, urging people to disregard the message and assuring the public that he would investigate the matter further upon his return.

The post, which raised concerns about unemployment and inflation, described the idea of war as “suicidal” and a burden on the citizens. It also called for international cooperation between India, Pakistan, and China to combat terrorism. The post concluded by reiterating that war supporters should be sent to the border as Agniveers.

The controversial post did not go unnoticed, drawing sharp criticism from political figures, including BJP leader Gaurishankar Srivas, and reactions from the Chhattisgarh BJP’s official social media account. The incident continues to stir debate among social media users.

UD Minj, a senior Congress leader from Jashpur district, has served as an MLA from Kunkuri and as a Parliamentary Secretary during the tenure of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
