President Droupadi Murmu arrives in Raipur for AIIMS Raipur and NIT Raipur convocations

President Droupadi Murmu reached Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh on Friday on a two-day visit.

Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai accorded her a warm welcome at Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur.

President Murmu will attend the convocation of AIIMS and NIT in the capital Raipur on Friday. The President will inaugurate the Sarguja block at Purkhauti Muktangan campus in Nava Raipur and will release the 9th installment amount to 70 lakh women under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana of the Government of Chhattisgarh and will interact with the beneficiaries of this scheme

President Murmu will visit the Jagannath temple in Raipur on Saturday and will also attend the convocation of IIT Bhilai and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Memorial Health Science and AYUSH University Nava Raipur.
