Employment and Service Also Prohibited, Affidavit to Be Submitted to College, Principals to Monitor Compliance
Raipur
MBBS students in Chhattisgarh will no longer be allowed to engage in private practice during their graduation. The state government has issued an order enforcing a complete ban on private practice for students enrolled in government medical and dental colleges.
According to the department, students are prohibited from engaging in private practice, service (work for any community or NGO), or employment during the course duration. Students are expected to fully focus on their studies during this time.
All students must submit an affidavit to the college, pledging that they will not engage in any unauthorized private practice, service, or employment during the course of their studies.
The responsibility of ensuring adherence to this order has been assigned to the college principals. Deans of medical colleges and principals of dental colleges have been instructed to strictly enforce this rule among undergraduate students.
