NEET 2026: SECR runs special MEMU trains, adds 40 extra coaches for candidates and guardians

Raipur: Keeping in view the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2026, the South East Central Railway (SECR) has made special arrangements to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for candidates and their guardians. To manage the expected rush during the examination period, special MEMU train services have been introduced and 40 additional coaches have been attached to various trains.

Korba–Durg–Korba MEMU Passenger Specials

• Train No. 06801 (Korba–Durg MEMU Passenger Special) will depart from Korba at 10:00 AM on June 20, 2026.
• Train No. 06802 (Durg–Korba MEMU Passenger Special) will leave Durg at 7:05 PM on June 20, 2026.
• Train No. 06803 (Korba–Durg MEMU Passenger Special) will depart from Korba at 4:00 AM on June 21, 2026.
• Train No. 06804 (Durg–Korba MEMU Passenger Special) will leave Durg at 7:05 PM on June 21, 2026.

Chhindwara–Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari MEMU Special

• Train No. 08823 will depart from Chhindwara at 6:00 PM on June 21, 2026, halt at all intermediate stations, and reach Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari at 10:50 PM.

Temporary Extension of Hasdeo Express to Durg

• Train No. 18250 (Korba–Raipur Hasdeo Express) has been temporarily extended up to Durg on June 21, 2026.
• The train will depart from Raipur at 10:45 AM and arrive at Durg at 11:45 AM.
• Train No. 18251 (Raipur–Korba Hasdeo Express) will originate from Durg instead of Raipur, departing at 4:30 PM.
