Nadda takes class of Ministers, MPs, MLAs in Mainpat; CM seen doing yoga, Shivraj also present

Raipur: The second day of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) training camp is underway in Mainpat, Surguja district, Chhattisgarh.

The training camp began on Tuesday with a yoga session. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, BJP National Joint General Secretary (Organisation) Shivprakash, Chhattisgarh BJP President Kiran Singh Deo, along with all ministers, MPs, and MLAs, participated in the yoga exercises. Yoga instructors guided the leaders on postures to maintain healthy lungs. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also arrived in Mainpat today.

On Monday, BJP National President J P Nadda held a closed-door session with party leaders. Mobile phones were not permitted inside the room, and all MPs, MLAs, and ministers deposited their devices outside. Sources present at the meeting stated that Mr. Nadda strongly advised the public representatives to remain grounded and avoid any perception of arrogance.

“Your conduct should be such that you do not feel embarrassed when you go among the public,” Mr. Nadda reportedly stated. “The public is supreme. Stay grounded, remain simple. Give statements to the media thoughtfully. Avoid making any statements that could tarnish the party’s image. Refrain from unnecessary comments on any subject and ensure there are no complaints of corruption.”

Earlier on Monday, Mr. Nadda planted a tree in Kamleshwarpur, Surguja district, as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (One Tree for Mother) campaign. He then inaugurated the training workshop for Chhattisgarh BJP MPs and MLAs.

Nadda’s five directives for leaders

  1. Be aware of society, the organisation, and the government. Prepare for the next election; your work and behaviour influence the public.
  2. The BJP is not just a political organisation; it is a dedicated movement of ideas, values, and service. Connect the public with this.
  3. MPs and MLAs in government need to coordinate more closely with the organisation and work at the grassroots level.
  4. Ensure the party’s presence at the booth level. It is your responsibility to take central and state government welfare schemes to every village and household. Adopt a strategy to factually counter the opposition’s misinformation campaigns.
  5. This training is not merely a formality; it is a means to prepare leadership, strengthen the organisation, and inspire party workers.

The development work and initiatives of the BJP’s ‘double engine’ government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in the country and state must reach every village and home in Chhattisgarh.

Amit Shah to attend on July 9

The training camp will conclude on July 9, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in attendance. Mayors will also receive training on the final day. Mr. Shah will offer guidance to all leaders on working with the public.
