CM Sai Attacks Congress Over National Herald Case

Raipur: Amidst Congress leaders’ protests against the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) actions in the National Herald case, the BJP is actively working to raise public awareness about the matter. As part of this, Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai has taken to social media to criticize Congress, equating the party with corruption.

In a post shared on social media platform X, Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai wrote, “Corruption and Congress are synonymous.” He added that the institutional scams and fraud committed in the National Herald case have now come to light. The ED filing a chargesheet against the accused clearly indicates their involvement in the scam.

He further said that attempts to obstruct investigative agencies or protesting on the streets in such corruption cases only prove that the accused have nothing to say in their defence in court. Congress is well aware that the evidence against the accused is strong.

The Chief Minister stated that the Gandhi family must now accept that no one is above the law. In such cases, the defence should be presented in court, not on the streets. He added that it is already known that the Gandhi family is currently out on bail in the National Herald case, and they should seek legal remedy rather than resorting to unnecessary propaganda, which will achieve nothing.
