Raipur, April 7 – IB Group Managing Director Bahadur Ali addressed the media at the Press Club Raipur today, marking the inauguration of India’s largest poultry conclave. Company Director Zoya Afreen Alam and other senior officials were also present.
“With the vision of developing villages by working from within, we have organized this unique poultry conclave,” said Bahadur Ali. “Traders and farmers from across the country engaged in the poultry sector are participating. IB Group has flourished because of its partners, and their growth remains our top priority. When our people grow, we grow.”
Ali outlined IB Group’s long-term vision: to contribute to a developed India by building a developed poultry nation by 2035. The initiative focuses on eliminating protein deficiency by providing healthy poultry, generating employment, and fostering household-level prosperity — paving the way for a stronger future generation.
The company also highlighted its “Golden Tomorrow” initiative, which supports the education of employees’ children, and its “Asmita” program, aligned with the Chhattisgarh government’s “Lakhpati Didi” scheme. Through “Asmita”, women receive training in poultry farming to drive empowerment and financial independence.
Local Leaders Join Hands with IB Group
Ali revealed that ten village leaders have already invited IB Group to establish farms in their regions. These farms promise employment opportunities for 300–500 local youths, reducing migration and boosting the local economy through increased retail, transport activity, and land value.
He also emphasized IB Group’s efforts to promote vegetarian protein through soy chunk production, reinforcing the company’s aim to position Chhattisgarh as India’s first protein hub.
Poultry Conclave at Hotel Ogaya
Ali invited media representatives to cover the two-day conclave at Hotel Ogaya in Raipur, underlining the critical role of the media in shaping and sharing Chhattisgarh’s journey toward becoming a national protein center.
