Ahead of the budget session, Chhattisgarh government’s cabinet meeting is going to be held on February 22. All ministers have been asked to attend this meeting. Information about this has been sent to all cabinet ministers by Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai. The budget session of the assembly is starting two days after this cabinet meeting, on February 24.
This meeting, being held just before the session, is considered important. The last meeting was held just before the implementation of the code of conduct for the local body elections. In this meeting, the ministers’ consent will be taken on the budget-related proposals and it will be presented in the House. Decisions can be taken in the meeting regarding new recruitments, new schemes related to farmers in the state, use of mining funds, and issues related to water supply schemes.
