A 9th-grade student was fatally stabbed following a dispute over a hairstyle. According to the information, a brawl erupted between two minors on Tuesday morning. During the altercation, a 15-year-old student stabbed a 17-year-old in the chest.
The injured minor was rushed to the Ambedkar Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital. Both students were studying in the 9th grade. The incident occurred within the Gudiyari police station area.
The station in-charge revealed that the two friends had been exchanging comments about hairstyles for the past week. Continuing this argument, while on their way to school on Tuesday, one minor (the accused) attacked his peer with a sharp weapon, striking him in the chest.
The minor student died in the hospital. The accused minor has been taken into custody, and legal proceedings are underway.
The 15-year-old who committed the stabbing is a school student. At the time of the incident, he was still in his school uniform. Currently, the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
