Tragic Accident in Raipur, Chhattisgarh Truck Kills Two Children, Injures 11

In a heart-wrenching incident, a speeding truck mowed down a group of 13 people standing by the roadside in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The accident resulted in the tragic deaths of two children, while 11 others sustained injuries, three of them critically.

 

The incident occurred near Siltara, under the Dharsinwa police station area, when a family from Dhamtari district was returning from a pilgrimage to Amarkantak. They had stopped their vehicle, a TUFAN, on the side of the road due to a mechanical failure. As they were repairing the vehicle, a speeding truck from Raipur rammed into them, causing the fatal accident.

 

According to the police, the incident took place around 1:30 AM on Monday. The victims, including women and children, were part of the Sahu family from Dhamtari who had gone to Amarkantak to celebrate the New Year.
