“Kaanger Valley Academy Celebrates 18th Annual Day with ‘Hurrah’ and ‘Confetti’ Events”
Kaanger Valley Academy celebrated its 18th Annual Day with a dual event named “Hurrah” and “Confetti” on 21st December 2024. The school known for its top- notch education, hosted several dignitaries including chief Patron Shri Swaroop Chand Ji Jain, Chairman Mr. Sanjay Jain, Secretary Ms. Rakhi Jain and many others.
The chief guest for Hurrah was Ms. Sheetal Shashwat Verma IRS, Special Secretary, Finance, Govt of Chhattisgarh. The event featured a cultural program; “Veer Vandan-Saluting the young heroes” with performances focused on known or unsung heroes who gave up their lives or contributed to obtaining freedom. Ms. Sheetal Verma praised the school’s achievements.
Confetti had honourable Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Ji as the Chief guest and Padmashree Anuj Sharma Ji, Member of legislative Assembly was the guest of honour.
The event included the Annual Prize distribution where Several students were honoured for their achievements. Riddhi Agarwal received the Lalita Jian Memorial Trophy for excelling Class XII and Tiya Bais received the Hiramani Jain Memorial Trophy for excelling in Class X. Master Vivan Kaushik selected as the best student in Pre-Primary and Ishkriti Singh as the best student in Primary. Samriddhi Rampuria was awarded as The Student of the Year. The school toppers of class XII Riddhi Agrawal, Mohanika Jain, Shital Jain and Class X topper Tiya Bais were awarded with medals and trophies. Ruby House won the Paladins Trophy for sports and the Gem of Gems Trophy for overall excellence.
The Highlight of the event was “Saarankan – The Essence of life”, where the students performed songs, dances and dramas that revolved around Classical Literature which harmoniously complemented our focus on human values.
The Principal Mr. Abhijit Das, thanked everyone for their hardwork in making the event successful.
The celebration ended with an Art and Craft Exhibition and the National Anthem.
