Chhattisgarh raises assistance to Rs 25 lakh under special health assistance scheme
Raipur: Chhattisgarh government has increased the financial assistance provided under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme to Rs 25 lakh. Previously, eligible families received a maximum of 20 lakh rupees for the treatment of identified rare diseases.
This decision came following Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement during the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly. In accordance with his directive, the Department of Health and Family Welfare, approved by Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo, issued an administrative order to raise the assistance amount to Rs 25 lakh.
