Public Relations Department’s Exhibition Enlightens Citizens on Government Schemes and Leaders
Raipur: The Public Relations Department hosted an engaging photo exhibition at the Town Hall in Raipur, marking the 76th anniversary of Independence. Drawing diverse crowds including common citizens, college students, and aspiring competitive exam candidates, the exhibition offered a glimpse into the state government’s initiatives and the valiant heroes of Chhattisgarh. Rural women, Chitrarekha Dewangan, Pramila Sahu, and Draupadi Nayak, appreciated the insights gained into government schemes and Chhattisgarh’s notable figures.
Arvind Verma, an LLB student from Raipur, found the exhibition’s intriguing information about Chhattisgarh captivating. Charu Pandey from Tilda and Dolly Markandeya of Mahasamund, preparing for the PSC, acknowledged the exhibition’s comprehensive coverage of freedom fighters and government programs, essential for competitive exams.
The exhibition elegantly showcased the state government’s accomplishments over five years and paid homage to Chhattisgarh’s significant revolutionary figures, instrumental in India’s struggle for independence. Visitors were immersed in the journey of Chhattisgarh’s revolutionaries, their roles in the Jungle Satyagraha and Quit India Movement, and their contributions to various aspects of the freedom movement. The event highlighted key government initiatives, including Suraji Gaon Yojana, Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Majdoor NYAY Yojana, Godhan NYAY Yojana, Chhattisgarh Millet Mission, and Unemployment Allowance Scheme. Attendees also had the opportunity to view a documentary showcasing the state government’s achievements.
The exhibition served as an informative platform, enriching the understanding of citizens about their state’s history, leaders, and ongoing initiatives, contributing to a stronger sense of unity and progress.
