Chhattisgarh State Health Employees Union ends strike after discussion with deputy CM TS Singh Deo

Raipur: Chhattisgarh State Health Employees Union has called off their strike after a meeting with deputy chief minister and health and family welfare minister TS Singh Deo on Sunday. A delegation of the union held a detailed discussion with Singh Deo at his residential office, highlighting their demands. They expressed their willingness to participate in constructive dialogue with the government. He assured that he would consider the demands of the health workers and put the same before the state government.

Deo had earlier appealed to the health department employees to resume their work in the best interest of the state’s people. Following today’s discussions, the office bearers of the Union have officially announced to call off their strike and resume their duties. Additionally, during the meeting with deputy chief minister TS Singh Deo, they also expressed their wish to meet chief minister Bhupesh Baghel.
