Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel questions report card of Modi government

Raipur
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday came down heavily on the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi while talking to reporters at the Civil Lines helipad in Raipur.
“We have not seen the report card of the Modi government, show us what they have done. How much the price of cooking gas, petrol and diesel has increased? How much did the price of food grains and oil increase?” said the chief minister. Demonetisation and now suspension of Rs 2000 denomination note, are achievements of the Modi government.
They have to give some work to their party workers and they are working reluctantly, Baghel said, adding there is no scope for them in Chhattisgarh
Apparently referring to Odisha train tragedy, Baghel questioned why such incidents are happening? “What could be a bigger failure than this? If your tracks were maintained or your Group-D, Group-C recruitments were all equal, then the work would have been equally maintained. Information would have been equal, such a big accident would not have happened, it is the biggest accident in the world.” Baghel said.
The MSP should not only be fixed on the basis of the report of the Swaminathan Committee, but there should also be a system for its purchase in the same way as Congress government has done.
On cow issue, Baghel said cow is a political agenda for them while referring to the opposition BJP in the state. “For them, be it Ram or cow, it is only a medium of vote, other than that they have no meaning,” he said.
As assembly elections drawing nearer, ED and IT actions will gain momentum. It is said that some ED officials have even got their children admitted in the schools here. By the time the elections come, their exams will also happen.
