Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel claims Congress will repeat Karnataka results in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday claimed the victory of the Congress party in the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh this year. He said that the BJP will face the defeat like Karnataka and no central leadership of the party can help the party in Chhattisgarh.
“We saw BJP contesting elections in Karnataka with the central leadership. But what happened? The party was handed over a massive defeat,” said Baghel while talking to media at Kondagaon. Baghel gifted development works worth Rs 213 crore here. The Chief Minster also inaugurated the ‘Doctor Tumcho Duar’ programme.
Baghel said, only experiment is going on in BJP. “I feel that the in-charge should not be changed before the elections. Because D Purandeswari, the former BJP state in-charge, was changed. Jamwal was kept aside. Nitin Nabin is also on the edge. Similar is the situation of senior leader Om Mathur, the Chief Minister said. Mathur is not able to bring all the BJP leaders on one platform, he said.
Regarding Raman Singh, Baghel said that his predecessor is not able to come out of his old days. He turned away from the worker. Even after being the former Chief Minister, he is under more security than the present Chief Minister, Baghel said. The party has also ousted the chief minister of 15 years.
Regarding the entry of people in BJP, the Chief Minister termed it as an eyewash. Anuj Sharma is already working for the BJP. Their 10 lakh membership campaign also got left behind. No one has left any political party.
Regarding the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Chief Minister said when he went to Bastar, it was said that the Prime Minister will come and when he is here he came to know that the Union Home Minister is coming.
It has been learned from the media that Nadda is also coming, he said. There is an election, so everyone will come. There are 4 months left, so everyone will come and see the works of the state government.
