Mukhyamantri Dai-Didi Clinic: More than 1.47 lakh women received free treatment

Raipur: Nearly 1969 camps have been set up under Mukhyamantri Dai-Didi mobile clinic yojana so far, while 1 lakh 47 thousand 362 women and girls living in slums of Raipur, Bilaspur, and Bhilai Municipal areas have been treated through Dai-Didi Clinic by setting up health camp near their homes.
The scheme is managed by the Chhattisgarh Government’s Urban Administration and Development Department. Under the initiative, a team of female doctors and paramedical staff arrive in the dedicated mobile medical unit and treat poor women and girls for free for a variety of diseases. This time these mobile medical units have performed lab tests on 28, 094 women and distributed free medicines to 1 lakh 40 thousand 333 women.
Previously, such women living in poor slum neighborhoods and working hard were unable to receive treatment owing to a lack of time or a variety of other factors, but now they can receive care from a Dai-Didi clinic near their homes via women doctors and medical workers. Now, Women are receiving care from doctors and are able to receive treatment in time as a result of this scheme.
