Shri Ganesh Vinayak Foundation honoured 30 strong women with Chattisgarh Mahtari Samman

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru once said – “to make people aware, it is necessary for the women to be awake”.
Once a woman takes an initial step, a family, a village and a nation move towards the development. The condition of a state and a country will undoubtedly rise where the women are physically, mentally and socially strong. Keeping this statement in mind, Shri Ganesh Vinayak Foundation conferred Chhattisgarh Mahtari Samman to 30 fearless and influential women on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

Shri Ganesh Vinayak Foundation organized Chhattisgarh Mahtari Samman 2023 for the women who have been actively working in various fields for a long time to bring positive changes in the society. The women were appreciated and honoured by the chief guest, Mrs. Shatabdi Pandey – former chairman of Bal Sarakshan Ayogya, Mir Ali Mir – renowned poet and Raskhan of Chhatisgarh, Dr. Anil Gupta – President of Shri Ganesh Vinayak Foundation and Director Shri Ganesh Vinayak Eye Hospital and Dr. Charudutt Kalamkar – Secretary of Shri Ganesh Vinayak Foundation and Director Shri Ganesh Vinayaj Foundation.

The performance was graced by the children of Kopalvani with a mesmerizing dance on Chhattisgarh folk song. *Harsha Sahu, Varnika Sharma, Aamna Mir Ali, Urmila Nad Paniker, Manisha Agarwal, Shilpi Goel, Subhangi Apte, Sunita Chansoria, Aarti Upadhya, Madhu Yadav, Padma Sharma, Vidya Rajput, Dr. Bhairavi Vaishnav, Pallavi Pandey, Saroj Pandey, Chandrakanta Oswal , Kanchan Pusadkar, Param Chandok, Rakhi Baid, Surbhi Singh, Lakshmi Kumar, Sarita Dubey, Priyanka Agarwal Gupta, Rajni Thakur, Divya Dubey, Rachna Nitesh, Aakriti Agarwal, Divya Patel, Sudeshna Ruhan , Dr Smriti Singh and Dr. Seema Srivastava were honoured. The stage was well coordinated by well-known litterateur and announcer Dr. Seema Srivastava.

Dr. Anil Gupta, President of Shri Ganesh Vinayak Foundation said, “It is heartening to see small drops filling up the pot”. While fulfilling our social responsibilities, we have made an effort to honor those women whose efforts are bringing change in the society today. Women empowerment is when women perform their responsibilities at their home as well as in the outside world with excellence.

Dr. Charudutt Kalamkar said , “We are thankful to these women who are irrigating the soil of Chhattisgarh in their own way and this is just an encouragement so that more women come forward and do such outstanding work.”
