Baghel asks how come Dr Singh and his son’s properties increased 1500 times
Raipur
Retaliating his predecessor Dr Raman Singh’s volley of statements on his twitter handle, targeting the state government, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel questioned how come the property of the former chief minister and his son increase 1500 times in the last 15-20 years and whose resort is it in Garhmukteshwar, Uttarakhand? The chief minister further said, Dr Singh has been refrained from campaign and other party activities and therefore he is remaining active only on social media, making uninterrupted statements.
Dr Singh should reply to question on civil supplies corporation scam that came to fore in 2015 under BJP’s tenure in the state, Baghel said, asking who is ‘Chintamani’ in the scam and why is it not mentioned in the document presented in the court in his name.
Dr Singh continued to inaugurate his son, wife’s office which had link to the chit fund companies. People sitting in constitutional posts also kept on distributing certificates to agents by holding employment fairs. Why were the offices which were closed and got started again? Was BJP wanted to loot the people of Chhattisgarh, Baghel said.
Baghel also said that he would like to ask Dr Singh and the BJP what Devendra Fadnavis had said in the case of Sanjay Raut, the ED acted accordingly and the same is happening in Chhattishgarh. Dr Singh’s statement comes first and ED’s press release comes later. After all, what is the connection of Bharatiya Janata Party and ED, how do they talk like a spokesperson, said Baghel.
On the allegation of convening the assembly session just before the election, the CM said that what does it matter, it has nothing to do with the Bhanupratappurby-election. On tribal reservation quota, the chief minister said that the BJP has been attacking the tribal interest. “We have full faith that the voters of Bhanupratappur will believe in the work of the government and make Congress candidate win,” said the chief minister.
