Raipur: National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) Chairperson Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will arrive in Raipur tomorrow on a one-day official visit.
The Chairperson, who is a former Union Minister of State, will depart from New Delhi at 6:30 am and land at Raipur Airport at 8:15 am.
According to the official itinerary, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will meet a delegation of Backward Classes representatives at the State Guest House in Raipur at 9:30 am. Following this, she will hold courtesy meetings with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at 10:30 am and the Governor at 12 noon.
In the afternoon, the NCBC Chairperson will attend the ‘Samajik Pragati Chintan Sammelan’, organized by Backward Classes organizations, at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, Budhapara, at 2 pm.
Later, she will chair a review meeting on welfare schemes for backward classes at the State Guest House at 3 pm. The meeting will be attended by the Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh, the Chairperson and members of the Chhattisgarh State Commission for Backward Classes, and the Principal Secretary of the Backward Classes Development Department.
After concluding her engagements, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will return to New Delhi on a flight scheduled to depart from Raipur at 6:40 pm tomorrow evening.
