Raipur Trust Offers Physiotherapy Sessions at Just Rs 100 During Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav
Free Consultation and Diagnosis at Hakimi Physiotherapy Clinic Throughout November
RAIPUR: Aiming to make regular physiotherapy treatment more affordable, the Dawoodi Bohra Charitable Trust has announced a special initiative. On the occasion of Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav, the Trust will offer physiotherapy sessions at just Rs 100 at its Hakimi Physiotherapy Clinic from November 1 to 30. During this period, consultation and diagnosis will be provided completely free of charge.
The clinic was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Brijmohan Agrawal on April 23 this year. In the six months since its inauguration, the centre has provided physiotherapy services to more than 100 patients. Four physiotherapists are associated with the clinic. It offers treatment for back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint and muscle conditions, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation. Patients are also guided on exercises they can regularly practise at home.
Dr Jumana Hussain, who works at the clinic, said that people often overlook persistent back, neck or joint pain, assuming it to be a routine problem. However, over time, such conditions can affect their ability to perform everyday activities.
She said that timely assessment and appropriate physiotherapy treatment can help manage pain, improve muscle function and restore mobility. Consistency during recovery is equally important. Along with regular treatment, patients should follow the exercises and precautions recommended by their physiotherapists at home. This helps support recovery and may reduce the chances of recurring problems.
Managed by the Dawoodi Bohra Charitable Trust, Anjuman-e-Saifee, the clinic is part of the Trust’s community service initiatives aimed at making physiotherapy and rehabilitation services affordable and accessible. The initiative seeks to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent people from accessing essential rehabilitation care.
