Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has refuted social media claims questioning the fairness of the Subedar, Sub-Inspector (SI) Cadre and Platoon Commander Recruitment Examination 2024.
The commission declared the preliminary written examination results on August 4, 2026. Following the announcement, short videos and reels circulated on social media mocking the names of certain candidates included in the merit list and raising doubts about the evaluation process.
CGPSC clarified that the candidate names mentioned in the results exactly match the details submitted by applicants in their online application forms. Candidates appeared for document verification, physical standard tests and written examinations using these same names, which were also printed on their admit cards.
The Under Secretary of CGPSC urged candidates and the general public to ignore unverified information and rumours circulating on social media.
The commission advised candidates to rely only on the official CGPSC portal, psc.cg.gov.in, for authentic and verified updates regarding the recruitment process.
