BJP Claims Victory in Bengal and Assam; Celebrations Erupt at Party Headquarters

RAIPUR – As vote counting continues for the high-stakes assembly elections across five states, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pivoted into full celebratory mode in Chhattisgarh. Top leadership, including Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and State President Kiran Dev, have declared a decisive shift in the political landscape of East and Northeast India.

BJP leadership claims to have “uprooted” the Trinamool Congress (TMC), signaling a historic change in leadership.
Projections indicate the BJP is poised to retain power, continuing its developmental agenda in the state.

A massive celebration is scheduled today at the BJP’s ‘Ekatm Parisar’ headquarters in Raipur.

“Mata Out, Equality In”: Leadership Reactions

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed high confidence in the trending numbers early Monday afternoon.

“In Assam, we are nearing the finish line; a BJP government is certain. In Bengal, the trends clearly show us leading. The people of Bengal have decisively overthrown the autocratic TMC regime. Victory is ours.”

Echoing this sentiment, BJP State President Kiran Dev credited the ground-level “labor and grit” of party workers for the projected results. Using a play on words to highlight the shift in West Bengal, Dev stated:

Mamata is out; Samata (equality) has arrived in Bengal. We are ready to re-dedicate ourselves to the extraordinary development of Assam.”
