Raipur, October 18: Principal Secretary Sonmoni Bora inspected the city e-bus depot in Bhilai on October 17 following a district-level review meeting and directed officials to expedite pending construction and infrastructure works to ensure the timely commencement of e-bus operations.

During the inspection, Bora reviewed the progress of construction and assessed the arrangements required for the smooth functioning of the depot. He instructed the concerned authorities to complete the remaining work on priority and adhere to the stipulated timeline.

He stressed the need to complete the charging station, streamline the electrical infrastructure, finish painting work on the buildings and wrap up other campus-related tasks without delay.

Bora also directed officials to conduct regular progress reviews and accelerate work on all pending components. He emphasised the need to ensure basic amenities and make all necessary arrangements to prevent any hurdles in the operation of the city e-bus service.
