Raipur: At least 12 passengers were injured when a private bus overturned near Dhurli in the Bhansi police station area of Dantewada district early Tuesday morning.
The incident took place around 4:30 am when the Mahindra Travels bus reportedly lost control and overturned. Security personnel stationed in the Bhansi area reached the spot shortly after and launched a rescue operation, helping trapped passengers out of the vehicle.
The injured were shifted to hospitals in Dantewada and Bacheli through ambulances. They are currently undergoing treatment, and their condition is reported to be stable.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
