Chhattisgarh government on Monday carried out a major reshuffle in the state police, transferring 115 ASP and DSP rank officers with immediate effect. The transfer order was issued by the Home (Police) Department on administrative grounds. The reshuffle includes 23 officers in the ASP (Grade Pay ₹8,700) cadre, 36 ASPs, and 56 DSPs.
The order, approved by the Governor, includes postings to district police units, CAF Battalions, Police Headquarters (PHQ), State Investigation Agency (SIA), Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), police training institutions, and commissionerate units.











Key ASP Transfers
- Rajendra Prasad Bhaiya: Transferred from PHQ, Nava Raipur to SP, Police Training School (PTS), Mainpat.
- Santosh Mahto: Shifted from PHQ, Raipur to Commandant, 5th Battalion, CAF, Jagdalpur.
- O P Sharma: Moved from Commandant, 4th Battalion, CAF, Mana to SP, Chief Minister Security.
- Neeraj Chandrakar: Transferred from SP, SIA, PHQ, Raipur to Commandant, 1st Battalion, CAF, Bhilai.
- Gayatri Singh: Appointed Assistant Inspector General (AIG), ANTF, PHQ, Raipur.

According to the Home Department, the transfers were made on administrative grounds. Copies of the order have been sent to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Deputy Chief Minister (Home), Director General of Police (DGP), Range Inspector Generals (IGs), and district authorities for immediate implementation.
