Forces in Bastar discharge duty wearing worn out shoes, socks: Narayan Chandel

Raipur :Leader of opposition Naryan Chandel on Friday said that the security forces in Chhattisgarh are discharging their duty with worn out shoes and socks, displaying the sorry state of the state under Congress rule. A securitypersonnel called him up and said that the state forces are made to wear worn out shoes and socks. Forces engaged in naxal-hit Bastar are also facing the same situation, alleged Chandel.  

Hitting out at chief minister BhupeshBaghel, Chandel said the chief minister had made promises of jobs to youths of Chhattisgarh in his ‘Janghoshnapatra’  besides Rs 2500 unemployment allowance to unemployed youths. However, these promises remain unfulfilled. 

Chhattisgarh is performing worse on all front because of Congress government’s faulty policies. It is for the first in the country when a state is taking loan to pay the interest of the loan and it is none other than Chhattisgarh which has taken Rs 51000 crore loan so far. There is a battle between ‘Siyasat’ and Riyasat in the state, adversely affecting the development of the state, Chandel added.

A cabinet minister accusing a collector of corruption and a cabinet minister cornering his own government on the issue of housing for poor, indicating towards constitutional crisis in the state, Chandel asserted.

The employees have announced to observe indefinite strike from August 22. Similarly, every section of the society are upset with the Congress government, he said.
