Hasdeo Express to Run Daily Between Korba and Raipur from August 1

Raipur
The South East Central Railway (SECR) has decided to merge the services of two Hasdeo Express trains and operate a single daily service between Korba and Raipur from 1 August 2026. The move aims to improve passenger convenience and simplify travel planning.
Under the revised arrangement, Train No. 18249/18250 Hasdeo Express will run daily between Korba and Raipur. This replaces the current system where Train No. 18249/18250 operates four days a week and Train No. 18251/18252 runs on the remaining three days.
Railway officials said the merger will expand rail connectivity and offer passengers a dependable travel option. The change removes the need to track separate train numbers and schedules.
“Passengers will now have access to a single daily service under Train No. 18249/18250, ensuring operational simplicity,” a senior railway official said.
The daily Hasdeo Express service will benefit commuters, students, business travellers and daily passengers who frequently travel between Korba, Bilaspur, Raipur and intermediate stations.
Officials stated that the train will feature 15 modern Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches, offering improved safety and riding comfort.
The decision is part of the railway’s plan to strengthen passenger services across Chhattisgarh and enhance the overall rail travel experience in the state.
