CGSOS declares Class 10, 12 results; girls outperform boys in both examinations

School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav on Thursday announced the results of the High School (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) main examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Open School for the March–April 2026 session. The results were declared at Mahanadi Bhawan in the state secretariat.

The overall pass percentage in the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination stood at 71 per cent, while the High School (Class 10) examination recorded a pass percentage of 58.39 per cent. Girls outperformed boys in both categories.

Higher Secondary (Class 12) results

A total of 40,256 students had registered for the Class 12 examinations, out of which 38,683 appeared. Results of 34,961 candidates were declared and 24,823 students successfully passed the examination.

Girls recorded a pass percentage of 72.17 per cent, while boys secured 70.01 per cent.

Among the successful candidates, 9,594 students secured first division, 10,368 obtained second division and 4,738 were placed in the third division. Results of 40 students were withheld due to technical reasons.

High School (Class 10) results

In the Class 10 examinations, 33,693 students had registered and 31,852 appeared. Of the 31,813 results declared, 18,578 students passed the examination.

Girls achieved a pass percentage of 59.82 per cent, higher than the 57.43 per cent recorded by boys.

A total of 5,874 students secured first division, 7,700 obtained second division and 4,947 were placed in the third division. Results of 39 students were withheld for various reasons.
