5th national conclave of AIPC commences in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: The fifth annual convention of the All India Professional Congress, a subsidiary organization of the Congress, began in Raipur on Saturday. This is the second consecutive year that the Conference of Professional Congress is being held here. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, former Union Minister and Professional Congress President Shashi Tharoor and Congress state in-charge PL Punia formally inaugurated the conference. Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan has also participated in it.

In the inaugural session of the conference at the Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, MP Shashi Tharoor said, “When people in places like Delhi ask us what kind of work will your government do, I proudly give them the example of Chhattisgarh. The way development and changes are taking place in Chhattisgarh, we want to do the same in the entire country. He said that the welfare schemes for farmers, laborers and all sections in Chhattisgarh made by chief minister Bhupesh Baghel are exemplary.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, the country is witnessing what has happened to the Gujarat model. Today after 9 years no one talks about the Gujarat model. Inflation, poverty and hunger are increasing in the country. On the contrary, our government emphasized on minimum income and minimum requirements. If you transfer money directly to the common man, he will spend the money, as a consumer. The Chief Minister said that selling the country’s property continuously is probably the Gujarat model and giving employment to all is the Chhattisgarh model.
